Hello everyone. As I get close to closing the chapter on my Commodore 64 Game Project for YouTube, I am planning to start a simple Beginner’s Course in C64 Assembly Language for those interested. This will also be a live engagement with me as your admin over video (Google Meets) and I will be here to answer your questions.

Depending on how many people I get to sign up is determined whether this will take off or not. I’m hoping to get enough people interested in wanting to design their own Commodore 64 projects. I have experience in both Assembly language and Basic dating back as early as 1987.

The goal here is not to throw out a lot of advanced knowledge, but rather to build up slowly and watch your projects grow.

Some of the Benefits of joining this course (Free Trial) will be:

  • Learning how to design your own CharPad Screens

  • Loading your screens into the VICE emulator

  • Getting sprites up on the screen (using SpritePad or another tool)

  • Designing a map to walk around in

  • Having interactivity with other objects (tiles) in an environment

  • Adding sound to your projects. Music may eventually be added down the road

  • Building out multiple maps and loading them from disk

I imagine the project will expand and so will this list, but this is just a small taste of what is to come! I really enjoy working with people and having experience working on a game team as well as I hosted one on YouTube for about a year in 2017.

So feel free to add your interest by filling out the form below. If you are new to this website, I will need your email address or there would be no way to contact you. You will get a reply back.

This course is set to launch in likely 1-2 months (if not sooner) as I’m working fast to finish up the Commodore 64 Game Project and hoping to get that completed before this ship sails.

Looking forward to meeting you all soon!
